We are recruiting experienced Employability and Work Based Learning Consultants with an excellent understanding of recruitment and selection processes, experience of developing employability activities and opportunities, and sharing this information and expertise with others.
As an Employability and Work Based Learning Consultant you will lead, develop and manage employability initiatives to support the delivery of the university employability strategy; this includes enabling our students to gain experience of work, creating and delivering training to our students, and organising programmes to develop our students\' employability. The university is committed to ensuring all our students gain experience of professional and relevant work experience, and you will play a key role in making this happen.
Two posts are available, one of which will focus on delivery for students within the Faculty of Business, Law and Social Sciences; the other will focus on cross university delivery. The students and Faculties you work with may change over time depending on business need.
Both posts will involve line managing staff, and experience in this area would be beneficial.
You will be skilled in building successful professional relationships; developing, delivering and measuring the impact of training programmes and initiatives; with experience of using technology to enhance and scale up service delivery.
As a key member of a Careers+ team you will work collaboratively with your Careers+ colleagues and faculty teams to achieve the best outcomes for students.
