Following Leonardo\xe2\x80\x99s announcement of a \xc2\xa310M contract to support the DALO with situational awareness systems, we are recruiting for an Electronics Lead.

The technology will provide crews with enhanced drivers vision and local situational awareness, allowing them operate more effectively in hostile environments.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to develop and grow your skills and knowledge within a thriving organisation. In this broad electronic engineering role, you will work across a range of projects throughout various stages of the product lifecycle from initial concept development through to early life production support and on to support of existing fielded designs.

Key Responsibility Areas

• The Electronics Lead will responsible for supporting our range of rugged displays and workstations. These displays are used within Leonardo products and also sold to customers around the world.
• This role will focus on being the technical focal point of all activity involved with supporting our active and future designs including liaising with customers and the supply chain.
• There are also opportunities to mentor, coach and develop junior members of the Integrated Project Team.

What you really must have:

• Knowledge and experience of the product development lifecycle
• Experience of Customer management
• Hardware development lifecycle \xe2\x80\x93 digital domain
• Software development lifecycle \xe2\x80\x93 microcontrollers
• Mechanical development lifecycle
• Configuration Management
• Managing the regulatory compliance of products
• Able to work at a system level but also at low levels of technical detail
• Verbal and written communication, team leadership and development

It would be nice if you had:

• To have awareness of the following tools: DOORS, ECAD, Altium/Expedition, MCAD \xe2\x80\x93 Inventor/CREO
