Electronics Engineering Internship - SPX Radiodetection

SPX Radiodetection is a global leader in the design and manufacture of precision tools used for detecting, inspecting, and mapping underground utilities. Our innovative technologies help keep people safe, protect critical infrastructure, and improve utility operations around the world.

We're looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Intern to join our team this summer.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional engineering environment, working on real projects alongside experienced engineers. The internship is paid and will run during the months of July and August, ideally for 6-8 weeks.

What You'll Be Doing

Supporting engineering teams with design, development, and testing of products Assisting with prototyping, data analysis, and performance testing Conducting research to support product innovation Collaborating with teams across R&D, quality, and manufacturing Preparing technical documentation, reports, and presentations Contributing to troubleshooting and problem-solving Following company safety standards and policies

What We're Looking For

You're currently studying an Electrical or Electronic related subject at University or similar. You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills You understand basic engineering principles and design methods Experience with tools like MATLAB or Python is a bonus You're a team player with great communication skills You have a hands-on, proactive approach to learning
