Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems and be proficient in using both power and hand tools. This role involves working on various electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Duties

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential or commercial settings. Diagnose electrical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to understand project requirements. Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and safety standards. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently. Perform routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.

Requirements

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role within the electrical field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to electrical work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Relevant qualifications or certifications in electrical work are required - NVQ level 3 - AM2 - 18th Edition A valid driver's licence will be required for travel between job sites. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 35,000.00-40,000.00 per year
