Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled qualified Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems as well as renewable technologies (Solar PV, Battery Storage, ASHP) with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in using both power and hand tools, as well as a commitment to ensuring safety and quality in all electrical installations and repairs.

MUST HAVE:

NVQ Level 3, 18th edition wiring regs, AM2

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Read and understand technical drawings and schematics to determine the layout of electrical installations Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs Ensure compliance with BS7671 during installation and maintenance tasks. Collaborate with other tradespeople to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to electrical work.

Experience

Minimum of 7 years experience as an Electrician Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and circuitry is required. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools safely and effectively. Relevant qualifications in electrical work. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 19.50-23.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
