Electrician - Industrial and commercial

Permanent Contract

Location: Cambridgeshire

Salary from \xc2\xa330,000 - \xc2\xa338,000 + Van and tools + Overtime

Our client is a national environmental services company that helps other large companies with their electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Due to a number of contracts that have been won we are looking for Electricians, just like you, to join the team!

We need you to start asap, working 42.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday. This is a full-time permanent position with overtime which will increase your take-home pay. We\'re looking for candidates who would love to travel to a number of sites within a 50-mile radius, and further afield when required, including occasional overnight stays.

The role

• Working within the Electrical Services Division, your day-to-day duties will include:
• Travelling to different client sites and delivering all requests for electrical work, making sure you have understood and fully deliver the brief
• Undertaking a range of electrical works. This will include installing and repairing industrial light fitting, checking sockets, re-wiring buildings, through to smaller tasks like changing a lightbulb in a store cupboard. They\'ve even got a project for installing new EV charging stations! No day will be the same.
• Completing safety tests and checks, adhering to all health and safety protocols, including RAMS documentation and reports
• Working with other departments, for example, the civil engineering team, to deliver more complex work
• Suggesting improvements and recommendations to the wider team

• To be a successful candidate for this role, you will:
• Have a full and clean driving license
• Be 17th or 18th edition qualified
• Hold City and Guilds, NVQ level 3, or have completed an apprenticeship in Test and Inspection, or relevant qualifications
• Have worked within sectors such as manufacturing, industrial
• Deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally
• Be ambitious and eager to develop new skills, additional training will be available as this company really encourages progression
• Adapt well to different projects and tasks, enjoying variety
