Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical systems and be proficient in the use of both power and hand tools. This role is essential for ensuring the safe and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in various settings. The Electrician will work closely with other tradespeople and contribute to a collaborative work environment.

Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with relevant regulations and safety standards. Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform necessary repairs to ensure optimal functionality. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out tasks efficiently. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications to determine the layout of electrical systems. Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas for improvement. Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications. Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any issues encountered during the job.

Experience

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role is essential. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols. Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools relevant to the trade. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous but not mandatory.
