Job Opportunity: Experienced Electrician

Dave Watton Electrical Ltd is seeking to recruit an experienced, qualified electrician with a primary focus on the domestic market, including electrical installation, maintenance, and inspection & testing. Experience in the commercial, light-industrial and renewable areas would be an added advantage.

We are also breaking into the Solar PV and renewable installation and have gained MCS accreditation within this sector.

As NICEIC Approved Contractors and Domestic Installers with over 22 years of industry experience, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality electrical solutions across the domestic, commercial, and light-industrial sectors. We have also expanded into the renewable energy market, becoming MCS approved for Solar PV and Battery Storage installations.

Role Overview:

This position offers variety and challenge, with duties ranging from domestic electrical installations to renewable energy solutions. The key responsibilities will include:

Domestic Project Works:

Electrical installations for full renovation projects, both large and small.

Rewiring of Domestic Properties:

Handling full property rewires, ensuring compliance with current regulations.

Electric Vehicle Charging Points:

Installation of EV charging stations.

Consumer Unit Replacements:

Replacing and upgrading consumer units to meet safety and efficiency standards.

Smart Heating Controls:

Installation and maintenance of smart heating systems, including general boiler controls and Air Source Heat Pump (ASHP) controls. (Training will be provided if necessary.)

Reactive Maintenance & Repairs:

Addressing urgent maintenance needs and general electrical repairs.

Renewable Energy Installations:

Installation and maintenance of Solar PV and Battery Storage systems.

Our works are generally within a 25-mile radius of Downton, making it a convenient position for those based locally.

30,000 - 45,000 per annum, dependent on experience, with opportunities for growth within the company.
