Job Summary

Here we have an opportunity for the right applicant to join RoadPro which is a leading supplier and installer to the Campervan, Motorhome and Caravan Market.

We are looking for a Full-Time technical auto electrician. Working from our Daventry premises from Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm. A good knowledge and interest in electronics coupled together with technical and some engineering skills is essential. The successful applicant must be able to have a good understanding of customer service and good skills of being able to talk to our customers on a one to one basis. Good communication skills and confidence on the telephone is also important. You should be organised at all times and be able to keep your workspace tidy at all times during the week. Patience is a must and ideally have some sort of interest in Motorhomes, campers and caravans. Basic Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook is essential. A clean driving licence is preferred.

You will be working as part of a small team and as we are small company its important that you can be flexible in your position at all times to accommodate our customers and busy schedules.

To become quickly familiar with all our products within our industry and to be able to understand them enough to explain thoroughly to our customers what they do. Dealing with customer queries and technical enquiries by email and telephone. Dealing with returned equipment to ascertain faults if any according to company policies. Keeping our returned goods database up to date and accurate at all times. Using our computer system to process returned goods. Qualifications

Proven experience as an Electrician or in a similar role. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to use hand tools effectively. Proficiency in operating power tools safely and efficiently. Physical capability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Relevant certifications or qualifications in electrical work are advantageous.
