My client is a lighting company and they are looking for an experienced Sales/New Business Manager to join the team who has had experience within the Electricals or Lighting industry.
Your role will be to identify and develop new business opportunities to generate revenue, improve profitability and help the business grow.
Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for Sales Activity into a customer base of NHS, local authorities, education, and commercial
Responsible for new customer relationship development, to maximise sales opportunities
Meet with clients and customers over the phone, online or face to face
Maintain regular customer contact with the overall purpose of developing the relationship and business with product solution offering
Work closely with team to help grow and develop the UK Lighting Business across NHS, local authorities, education, and commercial sectors
Work with Marketing team to help plan sales campaigns
Utilise all relevant business social channels, Linked In and more to gain exposure and interest amongst new client prospects
Implement a Strategic Business plan for each key target sector and create/develop a sales pipeline
Assist senior management and team to uncover new tender and project opportunities
Target Senior most decision makers in each organisation and account developing long standing relationships
Confident at pitching to from Junior Management to Board Level (with support)
Become the main point of contact for all new clients introduced
Develop and win new business as well as responding to incoming leads
Develop and implement weekly / monthly / quarterly call/activity plans to be able to forecast sales and support management team
Essentials:
Previous experience selling Lighting Products (ideally LED), with a proven track record of sales delivery/performance
Experience selling to a targeted audience
Understanding of energy savings as a key driver to achieving sales
Results driven, ambitious and highly self-motivated
Looking to advance their career within the lighting and building solutions sector
Dialux / Relux software skills advantageous
Adaptable and flexible to respond to new opportunities and challenges with vigour and enthusiasm
Eligible to work and live in the UK
Full UK driving licence
