Position: Electrical control panel/on machine wire person

TS Converting Equipment Ltd is a leading engineering and manufacturing company supplying specialised equipment to the converting and print industries across the world.

As an electrical wire person your responsibilities will include the planning and wiring of a wide range of machines and control panels following detailed electrical drawings.

You will be required to work as part of a team and be competent in wiring electrical equipment including PLC control systems (No software knowledge or programming required), motors, drives, relays, transformers and HMI's. There will also be a large element of on machine wiring involving trunking, cable tray, junction boxes and various sensors.

Ideally a fully time served electrician with control panel/on machine wiring experience

Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills

Ability to work independently of others with minimal support

18th edition of the wiring regulations

Ability to read electrical drawings

Fault finding

Hours are 8am-4.30pm Mon-Thur and 8am-1.30pm on Friday

20 Days holiday (Increasing by 1 day for each complete year of service up to a maximum of 25) plus bank holidays

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 17.23-18.25 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
