Are you an Electrical Technician who holds a recognised Engineering qualification?

We are working in partnership with a global manufacturing business, who specialise in the design, build and commission of bespoke machinery. This world-class machinery delivers manufacturing consistency throughout the cycle of the manufacturing process ensuring its customers produce and deliver outstanding products. Our client is at the forefront of R&D and invests in all areas of the business to deliver world-class bespoke machinery.

Due to a solid order book and exciting new projects, they are looking to recruit Electrical Technicians and need you!

Your main duties will be:

• Work to schematics/ cable schedules and part lists
• Build parts to client specifications and to the companies quality standards
• Ability to work to testing & validation processes on assembled modules and overall machinery
• Work to a timely manner to ensure project milestones are met
• Work efficiently and effectively as part of the build team
• Proactively identify solutions to build issues

What you will bring to the role:

• A recognised & registered qualification within an engineering discipline
• Experience of working in an electrical engineering environment
• Experience of electrical/automation machinery and the ability to fault find
• Strong understanding of low voltage systems, analogue and digital IO and other typical automation systems
• Understanding of EMC Screening and bonding for machinery
• Experience of installations with pneumatic/electro-pneumatic equipment- proficient with schematics and problem solving.

This role is commutable from Leeds, Harrogate, York, Tadcaster, Weatherby and Boston Spa
