Have you considered a career in Construction or Engineering?
We are offering a free two-week training course in basic industrial Off Site Construction which could lead to a new career in our offsite manufacturing and production assembly workshops at Midsomer Norton.
The training will take place from Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm, on 9th to 20th October 2023 and is open to anyone over 19yrs of age and is based in certain geographical areas for funding eligibility.
The Skills Bootcamp will be open to anyone meeting the entry requirements but we are specifically targeting at parents wishing to return to work.
Both the training and subsequent employment is to be based around school hours allowing parents to carry out child care activities at home and then come to work when the children are at school.
Requirements:
You must be aged 19+ to be eligible for funding.
Due to our funding partners there are limitations on whether you will get funding due to your location. You will need to live within one of the following councils:
- Bath & North East Somerset
- North Somerset
- Bristol
- South Gloucestershire
