Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced field based Marine Engineer, specialising in Electrical systems to join our dynamic but small team. Due to size of team, must be flexible and collaborative in approach. Working in various locations often in southern Europe, depending on the location of vessel etc. Should therefore be prepared to work away from home for extended periods.

Should have a good range of practical experience from engines to general maintenance of marine systems, and general repairs. Should be able to fault find and suggest solutions. Will be required to work with minimum supervision but be able to collaborate with others.

Duties

Installation of new equipment, upgrades and replacements Fault finding and repair of systems. Willing to carry out general repairs and maintenance tasks as directed as well. Utilize mechanical/electrical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in marine equipment. Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time. Maintain up-to-date knowledge relevant to marine industry and the latest in equipment. Complete daily report of work carried out etc.

Experience

Candidates should possess hands-on experience in the marine industry. Be used to working on large Motor yachts. Work if often associated with vessel attached to Super Yachts so high standard of work is required and flexibility regarding location.

Job Types: Permanent, Fixed term contract, Temp to perm
Contract length: 6-12 months

Pay: 30,000.00-40,000.00 per year
