Electrical Maintenance Engineer

3-month contract min.

Location: Halifax / West Yorkshire

Rate: \xc2\xa330.00p/h (Limited Co.)

Shifts: Rotating 6-2/2-10 - Mon-Fri (37.5hrs)

Electrical / manufacturing / FMCG / maintenance / machinery

I am recruiting exclusively for a key client based in West Yorkshire. They are a leading UK manufacturer to the kitchen and bedroom furniture marketplace. They are looking for Maintenance Electrician, to assist with general maintenance work covering the whole plant and varied complex machinery.

For this position, you will require to conduct the following duties:

v Reactive maintenance as well as PPM\xe2\x80\x99s

v Working on all electrical aspects of production machinery, robotic handling and capital equipment including palletisers and cranes

v Conducting full fault find and repair as required

v Fixing fast paced industrial production CNC machinery

v Repairing aspects such as control panels, circuits, 3 phase power, wiring, transformers, sensors, relays, PLC faults \xe2\x80\x93 inputs and outputs etc

v Working safely is paramount, and make recommendations for improvements

The successful person will need to have the following attributes:

v Electrical engineering apprenticeship qualified minimum to NVQ L3 (certificates required)

v Good experience with LEAN and Continuous Improvement principles

v Strong Health and Safety awareness

v Able to work autonomously, with a \xe2\x80\x98right first time\xe2\x80\x99 mentality

v Experience within fast paced manufacturing & production environments

v Strong communication and interpersonal skills working alongside production staff and shift supervisors

v Reliable, punctual, team player, and professional attitude

v Require your own tools
