FINTEC Recruit is currently seeking a Electrical Maintenance Engineer for our client in the manufacturing industry. This permanent position is based on site in Fort William, Scotland, working 37 hrs per week Monday to Friday. Salary banding up to \xc2\xa343,000 plus bonus and benefits ; relocation assistance available. You will be responsible for doing secondary repairs, breakdown repairs, and planned preventative maintenance with a mechanical bias in order to support production and the smooth operation of the facility.

Essential Requirements -

• Mechanical biased craft background
• Knowledge of equipment such as Overhead cranes, Compressors, Pneumatics and Hydraulics, Conveying systems and site vehicles
• Time served Mechanical apprenticeship
• Ability to read drawings

Responsibilities for the Electrical Maintenance Technician/Engineer -

• Ensuring that all mechanical equipment is maintained in accordance with current legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements
• Detect and fault find mechanical issues and determine the quickest, most affordable, long-term fix
• In accordance with Health and Safety requirements, report potential hazards and help others report them
• Complete reports of performed work tasks in line with Maintenance Engineer\xe2\x80\x99s expectations
• Use and maintain tooling in accordance to working specifications and conditions
