About the client
I am working with a specialist contractor who\'s office is based in Birmingham. This company specialises in design & installation services for electricity, water and gas. This company works alongside accredited Tier 1 main contractors as well as developers and consultancies.
About the role
You will be positioned as an Electrical Estimator, your duties will include:
- Preparing detailed bills of quantities and work schedules for accurate pricing (up to 11kV - 33kV)
- Compiling tender comparisons
- Presenting tenders at meetings
- Offering advice on risk & value engineering options
- Working closely with supply chains
- Maximising efficiency of services
To successfully apply for this role, you will need to have experience as an Electrical Estimator within the groundworks/ civils/ electricity sector. You will also need to have;
- L3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- An in depth understanding of the industry using ENA and G81 standards
- An understanding of EV & Renewable Energy systems
- Experience with Windebut or ConnectGrid (preferred, not essential)
- Knowledge of Distribution Network Operators and Independents
