Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and innovative Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in electrical engineering principles and will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance activities within Rides Maintenance ensuring rides are safe, fully operational and to maximise performance.
Duties
-Carrying out maintenance of rides and ensure all checks are carried in line with the schedule Rectify faults expediently Collaborate with mechanical engineers to integrate electrical components where required. Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning of electrical systems. Maintain accurate documentation of designs, modifications, and testing procedures.
Experience
An enthusiastic individual who takes pride in their work. Must be able to work in a team environment. The successful candidate will have a logical approach to their work and be qualified to
NVQ Level 3
in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent), City & Guilds Inspection & Test, City & Guilds 17th Edition. You will possess knowledge of control systems, PLC systems and AC/DC drives, be able to interpret electrical schematics and have experience of fault diagnosis. Mechanical knowledge is preferred to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams. Previous experience in a similar role or relevant projects will be highly regarded.Your expertise will play a vital role in supporting the Engineering Team within our theme park.
