Electrical Engineer

Salary from \xc2\xa330,000 - \xc2\xa338,000 + Van and tools + Overtime

Our client is a national environmental services company that helps other large companies with their electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. Due to a number of contracts that have been won, we are looking for Electrical engineers and Electricians, just like you to join the team!

We need you to start asap, working 42.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
This is a full-time permanent position with overtime which will increase your take-home pay. We\'re looking for candidates who would love to travel to a number of sites within a 50-mile radius, and further afield when required, including occasional overnight stays.

The role
Working within the Electrical Services Division, your day-to-day duties will include:

• Travelling to different client sites and delivering all requests for electrical work, making sure you have understood and fully deliver the brief
• Undertaking a range of electrical works. This will include installing and repairing industrial light fitting, checking sockets, re-wiring buildings, through to smaller tasks like changing a lightbulb in a store cupboard. They\'ve even got a project for installing new EV charging stations! No day will be the same.
• Completing safety tests and checks, adhering to all health and safety protocols, including RAMS documentation and reports
• Working with other departments, for example, the civil engineering team, to deliver more complex work
• Suggesting improvements and recommendations to the wider team

The person

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will:

• Have a full and clean driving license
• Be 17th or 18th edition qualified
• Hold City and Guilds, NVQ level 3, or have completed an apprenticeship in Test and Inspection, or relevant qualifications
• Have worked within sectors such as manufacturing, industrial
• Deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally
• Be ambitious and eager to develop new skills, additional training will be available as this company really encourages progression
• Adapt well to different projects and tasks, enjoying variety.
