Mobile Electrical Engineer

Location: Greater London (Mobile)

Hours of work: 41.25

Contract Type: Permanent

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for delivering a high standard of electrical engineering services across a portfolio of client sites.

This includes carrying out fault finding, repairs, planned and reactive maintenance, as well as installation works.

The role requires a strong technical background and a proactive approach to problem-solving to ensure minimal disruption to client operations.

By adhering to ISS's service excellence standards, the Electrical Engineer will promote and maintain health and safety compliance at all times, ensuring all work is performed in line with current regulations and best practices.

The successful candidate will represent ISS professionally on-site, building strong relationships with clients and contributing to a reliable and world-class facilities service.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for electrical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk, ensuring customer expectations are exceeded. Oversee other building services maintenance including fabric, HVAC, mechanical tasks, and related works. Provide callout response for the client as per the callout rota. Manage contractors on behalf of the client, ensuring they meet relevant standards and issuing Permits to Work. Ensure electrical equipment operates to specified performance criteria and surrounding areas comply with company standards. Represent the company professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction. Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of equipment under contract. Proactively liaise with clients, addressing concerns or escalating to management as necessary. Be aware of contractual requirements and customer needs at all times. Ensure timely action on administrative requirements, keeping all documents and records accurate. Ensure compliance with H&S regulations, risk assessments, COSHH, etc. Suggest improvements and innovations to enhance service delivery.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Electrical Installation City & Guilds 18th Edition (BS:7671:2008) Inspection & Testing certification (2394/5 preferred) JIB card, IPAF/PASMA, Full UK Driving Licence Strong experience with commercial FM & building systems
