Job Description
Electrical Data Engineer required for the rollout of renewables projects in the Glasgow and Edinburgh area
We are undertaking an exciting Sustainability and Renewables based set of projects in the Glasgow and Edinburgh region. A team of experienced and trainee Engineer / Technicians are needed to complete this program.
Duties will include:
Router and Switch installation
Cat5e and Fibre cabling and termination
Network configuration (training given)
Working with mechanical and heating engineers
Mentoring and guiding trainee staff
Basic electrical wiring and connections
Installation of spurs/sockets
This program is to upgrade traditional heating networks to Al controlled carbon saving technology. The network you install will help save 1,000s tons of carbon annually. You will be working across 20+ sites in the Glasgow region.
It is likely you will have a background in:
Basic Networking skills (hardwired)
Electrical awareness
Full Driving Licence
Projects will involve close work with Engineers on the Heating and Mechanical aspect of building fabric and the requirement to be flexible, for each team to assist the other is paramount.
A competitive salary and a generous team based bonus scheme is in place for this opportunity
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 35,000.00-45,000.00 per year
