Days Role
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to join the team at a chemical manufacturing company in Knowsley.
Key responsibilities:
- Routine maintenance and calibration of electrical and instrumentation equipment
- Attend to electrical and instrumentation breakdowns
- Investigate any issues and prioritise effectively
- Lead role in site safety, isolations and permits
- Preventative maintenance, cleaning and safety checks
- Use CMMS to log faults, report defects and analyse data
- Ensure all drawings and documentation are updated
- Time served Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer
- Minimum of 5 years\' experience in an E&I maintenance role
- Experience working within chemical or similar highly regulated process plant
- Compex certification
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Knowledge of DCS, ideally Siemens PCS7
- Able to read PID, loop drawings and SLD\'s
- Understanding of ATEX regulations/inspections
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Good communication skills
- Team Player
