About the role
Education Project Officer (post-16) - Community Learning (known internally to LCC as a Project Officer - Community Learning). This is a permanent role and primarily focussed on managing and supporting a caseload of subcontracted training providers across Lincolnshire who deliver on LCC\'s Adult Education Budget and Multiply programmes.
This role plays an integral part in managing our network of 28 training providers to deliver over 7,000 training places to adults each year. Successful candidates will support the planning, commissioning and performance monitoring of a wide range of adult learning programmes, in response to identified priorities and requirements across the geographical area. We cover the whole of Lincolnshire and therefore you will need a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Hybrid working is a feature of this role. The successful applicant will be required to attend the office alongside the rest of the team at least once (usually a Thursday) possibly twice a week. On occasion additional days may be required. The remainder of your time will be spent hybrid working and traveling across the county visiting our subcontracted providers within their local settings. The Council can offer an element of flexibility within working patterns to accommodate a strong work-life balance, subject to service needs.

On an individual basis you will actively contribute to our ambition of delivering high quality learning provision to adults across Lincolnshire. You will work autonomously, make decisions, be effective in developing and maintaining partnership relationships, escalate areas of concern and take action to support sub-contracted training providers to deliver against targets and quality measures. It goes without saying that to achieve this you will need to be skilled at building and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships.
