The EHCP Coordinator Assistant is responsible for undertaking administrative duties, working in a team under the supervision of the Business Support Manager and their Deputy within the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Service.

About the role

You will be working closely with other EHCP Coordinator Assistants as a team offering support to the Coordinator Officers, so it will be important for you to form strong working relationships to ensure that you are able to meet the statutory deadlines of the service.

The Coordinator Assistant contributes to the development of the SEND Service by: managing own performance, supporting and working with EHCP Coordinators, managing databases, managing a caseload and meeting statutory deadlines. As a Coordinator Assistant you are the first point of contact for families and professionals so we expect every Coordinator Assistant to possess strong admin and technology experience to undertake a range of functions which will in turn improve the delivery of the SEND Service.

The post is based in Guildhall 2, Kingston, and the hours are 36 per week 09:00-17:15 Monday to Thursday and Friday 09:00-17:00.
