You will be responsible for creating robust electrical solutions, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and working with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical systems for our vehicles. Proficiency in CATIA Electrical and VeSys for electrical system design is essential, along with strong knowledge of power distribution and management in modern automotive applications.###

Key Responsibilities

Wiring Harness Design & Development:

Design and optimize wiring harnesses, power distribution systems, and electrical circuits for automotive applications. Utilize CATIA Electrical for 3D modelling of wiring layouts, connectors, and electrical components within the vehicle architecture. Create electrical schematics using VeSys and ensure proper integration with vehicle systems.

Power Management:

Develop and integrate power management strategies for both low and high-voltage (48 V) systems in vehicles. Ensure proper distribution of power to various automotive electrical systems while maintaining energy efficiency. Collaborate with other teams on battery management systems, inverters, and energy recovery systems.

Automotive Electrical Standards & Regulations:

Apply automotive electrical standards (e.g., ISO 16750, ISO 11452) in all designs to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements. Ensure the electrical systems meet reliability and durability standards for automotive applications.

Embedded Systems & Control Units:

Design, integrate, and validate embedded electrical control systems, focusing on power electronics and networked communication systems (e.g., CAN, LIN, Ethernet). Work with ECUs (Electronic Control Units) to ensure proper operation and integration with the vehicle's electrical and electronic architecture.

Testing & Troubleshooting:

Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems, including power distribution, high-voltage components, and signal integrity and fuse blow tests. Use simulation tools (e.g, VeSys) to validate circuit designs and electrical systems before physical implementation. Troubleshoot electrical issues within prototypes and production vehicles, performing fault diagnosis and corrective actions.

Connector & Component Selection:

Select automotive-grade connectors, terminals, and components that are durable and reliable in harsh automotive environments. Ensure component compatibility and adherence to safety standards in all electrical designs.

Vehicle Integration & Prototyping:

Integrate electrical systems into vehicle prototypes, ensuring compatibility and functionality across the vehicle's electrical architecture. Validate electrical systems under real-world environmental conditions, including vibration, temperature, and electromagnetic interference (EMI).

Collaboration & Project Management:

Work closely with mechanical engineers, software developers, and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into the vehicle platform. Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination across multiple teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
