Enterprise Data Platforms Onboarding
Northampton

As a Barclays Enterprise Data Platforms Onboarding AVP you will support new and existing tenants with their adoption and usage of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s new Enterprise Data Platform. While our existing Business Enablement Team will work with Businesses & Functions to understand requirements, the Onboarding Team will support their technical onboarding from account approvals & creation, usage of our toolset, data cataloguing, data lifecycle management, billing etc. They will also provide ongoing governance to ensure continued compliance with policy/process.

Hybrid Working
We are currently operating in a hybrid working environment, meaning that many colleagues spend part of their working hours at home and part in the office, depending on the nature of the role they are in. Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.

What will you be doing?

• Building a thorough understanding of our Enterprise Data Platform and roadmap
• Supporting clients onboarding to the platform, both providing guidance and undertaking specific setup tasks on their behalf
• Executing and continuously improving the onboarding journey for new tenants, driving documentation, process changes, development changes, new tooling etc. as required
• Engaging with developers & architects to ensure the customer journey is properly represented in design & build phases and work to embed a customer focus in all teams
• Ensuring the highest quality documentation is produced & maintained by the development & onboarding teams to support tenants and present a professional product
• Ensuring ongoing compliance of tenants with EDP and other applicable designs, policies and standards
• Engaging in detail with client development teams to support them and address issues as needed
• Managing customers\xe2\x80\x99 expectations and handle issues or delays during onboarding which will often be under significant management focus

• Excellent attention to detail, ability and desire to identify and resolve issues and manage technical challenges from stakeholders
• Good project/task focus to ensure clear tracking of customers\xe2\x80\x99 onboarding journeys
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in matrix environment across geographies and teams

Skills that will help you in the role:

• Proven experience executing and improving operational processes
• Deep risk and control knowledge to ensure compliance of both the platform and tenant\xe2\x80\x99s usage of it
• Sufficiently technical background to fully understand the platform, the steps required from a tenant and to execute technical setup/config steps themselves
• Experience with data lakes / warehouses, Public Cloud services, Data Management and/or Data Architecture (Data Glossaries, Lineage, Quality, Archival etc.)

Northampton was the birthplace of Barclaycard in 1966 and we\'ve been based in Pavilion Drive since the building opened in 1997. This state-of-the art energy efficient building holds up to 2,500 staff. The office location is perfect for travel from the midlands and London alike as we are based just off the A45, it is easily accessible by both car and bus routes.
