Descripcion

The eDiscovery Analyst specializes in managing, processing, and analyzing electronically stored information (ESI) for legal matters, regulatory investigations, and compliance reviews. They play a critical role in the eDiscovery process by ensuring that relevant data is identified, collected, preserved, and produced in accordance with legal and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Identification, Mapping & Collection:

Work with legal team and IT department to identify relevant data sources. Conduct data mapping to track the location, storage, and flow of ESI across Gallagher. Ensure defensible data collection methods that preserve metadata integrity.
Processing & Analysis:

Use eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Everlaw, Exterro, Reveal, DISCO) to process and filter large volumes of data. Apply search terms, deduplication, and analytics to streamline workflows. Work with case teams to refine data sets for transfer and review.
Document Production:

Generate productions in accordance with litigation and regulatory requirements. Ensure proper formatting (e.g., TIFF, PDF, native productions) and metadata inclusion.
Workflow & Compliance Management:

Maintain chain of custody documentation and defensibility records. Ensure compliance with legal hold policies and eDiscovery best practices.
Technology & Automation:

Leverage AI, technology-assisted review (TAR), and predictive coding to optimize workflows. Automate routine tasks to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
