About Us:

GCL Products Ltd is a fast-growing, multi-channel supplier of high-quality landscaping, construction, and groundworks products. We operate several successful e-commerce platforms including gclproducts.co.uk, TheGardenRange.co.uk, and MatsGrids.co.uk, as well as established sales channels on eBay and Amazon. We're now looking to strengthen our online sales team with a driven and enthusiastic E-Commerce Internal Sales Executive.

Role Overview:

This is a varied and fast-paced role at the heart of our e-commerce operation. You will be responsible for handling inbound sales and customer service enquiries across multiple digital platforms--email, live chat, telephone, and marketplace messaging--providing expert advice, closing sales, and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to incoming enquiries via telephone, email, live chat, and e-commerce platforms (Amazon, eBay) Proactively engage with potential customers to understand their requirements and recommend suitable products Process online and telephone orders accurately and efficiently Handle customer queries including stock availability, delivery information, order updates, and returns Maintain up-to-date product knowledge across all GCL product ranges Work closely with the warehouse, logistics and marketing teams to ensure a smooth customer journey Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities Support the maintenance of online listings and content quality across all platforms Assist with marketplace compliance and customer feedback management
Key Requirements:

Proven experience in e-commerce, online retail or internal sales (preferred) Strong written and verbal communication skills Confident using multiple communication platforms (e.g., live chat, eBay/Amazon messaging, CRM systems) Highly organised with great attention to detail Customer-focused, with a proactive and problem-solving attitude Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment IT literate, with working knowledge of MS Office and e-commerce platforms
Desirable (but not essential):

Experience using WooCommerce or similar and Brightpearl ERP. Familiarity with eBay & Amazon Seller Central Interest or background in construction, landscaping, or home & garden sectors
