It supplies a tool hire booking service for both home and commercial use. There are two brands in this same catalogue. One is very successful and has had a lot of love and attention over the years. The other sits in the same catalogue but as yet hasn\'t had any real focus applied to it.The successful brand has grown significantly in the last few years, becoming a nationally recognised brand with a multi-million pound booking platform. Whereas the 2nd brand has a conversion rate 5x less and generates 20x less than the successful active brand \xe2\x80\xa6 but radiates like a beacon with it\'s huge potential.The Group is ready to recruit a \xe2\x80\x9cmirror team\xe2\x80\x9d to focus specifically on the as-yet un-loved brand and work to make it a healthy competitor to its successful sister brand.THE JOBReporting to the company\'s founding Directors as the Business Growth Director for this brand, your focus is on growing it\'s online revenue stream. With a successful sister brand in the company, you\'ll replicate the roadmap for product listings, SEO, marketing, DPR and great UX/UI. You\'ll draw upon your extensive experience, making smart choices on a full site rebuild, potentially on a better platform, leveraging best industry practices. You\'ll build a small team, reporting to you but share the existing booking system and company back office team that operates for the successful sister brand.Driven by results, you\'ll be highly motivated by eCommerce growth. You\'ll confidently manage the P&L and be accountable for the commercial and technical innovations to gain market share. You\'ll enjoy leading the strategy, be competent in reporting and working closely with the company founders. This will be a little like running your own business in the security of an employer\'s umbrella!TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • 6+ years marketing/growth leadership delivering effective short and long term strategies for eCommerce growth
  • Experience of success in driving significant eCommerce growth which enables you to draw on that experience, make smart decisions and put your stamp on a scaling brand with a significant footpath to success.
  • Bring a wealth of commercial experience, experienced in managing the P&L and able to monitor the sales & marketing strategy, ensuring delivery effectiveness
  • Keeping abreast of marketing and industry trends \xe2\x80\x93 seasonal shifts, market forces, algorithm updates etc.
  • A start-up mentality, where the remit is broad with a focus on creating and improving existing practices.
  • Accomplished people management, leading, managing and motivating a team. Good people skills in general.
  • Excellent digital marketing knowledge, familiar with trading channels and levers with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude
  • Data driven and analytical with high attention to detail, balanced with a pragmatic approach
  • Enjoys a fast paced environment of doing great business
  • Collaborative with an ability to work with a variety of internal & external stakeholders
  • Regular management reporting, using internal bespoke systems and Power BI, undertaking quarterly business plan reviews of gross margins and profitability of product
  • Own a car and valid UK driving license
  • Energetic and conscious of time management, with a high level of competence in project management, and achieving multiple goals simultaneously \xe2\x80\x93 running and targeting internal and external staff and teams
LOCATIONYou\'ll need to be able to drive but the office is within easy access to main roads (A580, M62, M57), and commuting from Manchester, Stoke on Trent, Liverpool, Chester, Warrington is all under 1hour by car. Don\'t worry there\'s plenty of free parking, as it\'s very close to the Wildlife Park with access to regular coffee and food trucks throughout the day. Working hours are 9am \xe2\x80\x93 5:30 pm Mon \xe2\x80\x93 Fri but we are open to discussing flexible working and hybrid work (3:2). Do note, that regular attendance in the office is important for this leadership role.BENEFITS
