We are looking for passionate and inspiring Early Years Teachers to join the team at our nursery in the village of Strensall, with a passion to deliver teaching which stimulates a love of learning in a wonderfully attentive setting. Caring enthusiasm and energy will be coupled with experience and knowledge in early years learning and development. Salary advertised is range shown for candidates 21 years and over, as per statutory requirements.
The successful candidate will be able to:-
- Work closely and effectively with the children and their parents/carers-
- Deliver an expert knowledge of the EYFS framework
- Deliver a proficient knowledge of Ofsted regulations and practices-
- Deliver inspiring activities for the pre-school age-group, but work to reflect these opportunities so as to embrace children of all ages across the nursery-
- Work together with a highly motivated team,-
- Work from your own initiative and independently as necessary-
- Develop practices alongside the management team, within our self-evaluative environment.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the needs of children aged 0-5 years.
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Manage daily activities, ensuring smooth transitions between play, learning, and rest periods.
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships.
Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents.
Promote positive behaviour through effective strategies that encourage social skills and emotional intelligence.
Collaborate with other educators to create a cohesive learning experience across the nursery setting.
Participate in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is essential.
A recognised qualification in Early Childhood Education at Level 6 or above is required for the
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
Demonstrated ability to manage groups of children effectively while maintaining a positive atmosphere.
Leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and collaboration among staff members.
A genuine passion for nurturing young minds and supporting their developmental journey.
