We are currently recruiting for Qualified Early Years Teachers to join our wonderful Nursery and Preschool.
We are a small group of nurseries that are not large in size and have a max capacity of 50 to 75 children. So we are not a place you would be lost and just a number.
Our nursery in Bexleyheath is located walking distance (2 minutes walk) from the local train station.

As an early years teacher, you'll need to:
Consistently deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all children to develop and meets their individual needs.
Make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests and stages of development of the child by supporting the delivery of the key person approach.
Ensuring an enabling environment is providing consistent stimulating and inspiring activities for the children in both the indoor and outdoor area as a continuous provision.
Ensure that British Values are incorporated and demonstrated through Early Years Foundation Stage learning and play.
Safeguard and promote the health, safety and welfare of children in line with our child protection and keeping everyone safe policies and procedures.
Ensure internal policies and procedures are adhered whilst also meeting the external legislation and guidelines from our governing bodies.
Promote and follow guidelines implemented for managing behaviour including supporting children to manage their own feelings and behaviours.
Continually work in partnership with colleagues, parents and/or carers or other professionals to meet the individual needs of the children ensuring a diverse and inclusive approach is maintained at all times.
You'll need to have:
excellent communication and listening skills
good organisational skills to plan the day and respond to the different needs of the children you teach
the ability to inspire and enthuse young children
energy, resourcefulness, responsibility, patience and a caring nature
an understanding of the needs and feelings of children
ability to work independently with children, as well as being able to work in the wider nursery/school team
a sense of humour and the ability to keep things in perspective.
You'll also need stamina to keep up with the needs and energy of a large group of young, lively children, and creative skills such as music, dance, drama, arts and crafts will come in useful.
Qualifications Essential:
Qualified Teacher Status
Current Paediatric First Aid if qualified after 30/06/2019.
