Job Overview


We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Years Educator to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for nurturing young children's development. This role involves creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children to learn and grow. You will be responsible for implementing engaging educational activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive development.

Responsibilities



Develop and deliver age-appropriate educational programmes that cater to the individual needs of children in your care. Foster a positive and supportive atmosphere that encourages children to explore and learn through play. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to ensure a collaborative approach to each child's development. Manage classroom behaviour by setting clear expectations and providing guidance to promote positive interactions among children. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Collaborate with other educators and staff members to create a cohesive learning environment that supports all aspects of child development. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and contribute to its overall success.

Experience



Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early years setting is essential. A level 3 qualification in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a classroom effectively while fostering an engaging learning environment. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with children, parents, and colleagues. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education, with the ability to inspire young learners through creative teaching methods.

Pay: 13.11 per hour
