Job Description
Advert Renfrewshire Council is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled Early Learning Support Worker. You will be part of a team assisting nursery officers in the delivery of early learning and childcare including supporting lunchtimes, working with individual/groups of children and the organisation of playrooms. It is essential that you have experience working with young children and hold an SVQ Level 2 or NC in Early Years & Education or equivalent as stipulated for support worker category employed in day care services for children as detailed in SSSC Guidelines, be working towards a required qualification, or have relevant experience with an ability and commitment to undertake a required qualification. If not already registered with SSSC as practitioners, you will be required to do so. This must be done within six months from successful appointment to the post. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
