Early Learning and Childcare Practitioner at Cedar Nursery, Lenzie.

Cedar Nursery is recruiting a motivated and experienced/qualified practitioner to join our well established team.

To be successful the candidate MUST be qualified to HNC or SVQ -SCQF level 6/7 in childcare (or equivalent) to apply. They should be committed to delivering high quality early learning and childcare to every individual child and share in the delivery of a safe, secure, happy and stimulating environment, encouraging children to meet their own potential through play, discovery and investigation.

The position is a full-time post consisting of 35 -40hrs per week, Monday to Friday working shift patterns within the hours of 7.30am - 6.00pm.

Your role within the nursery establishment will include:

All aspects of the nursery daily routine Providing quality care to children from 2 years to five years Report writing and recording information with regards to children's development, achievements and reporting to parents and other professionals Being involved in planning, evaluating and recording Developing your own skills & knowledge in effective child-care practice
The role requires the successful applicant to be dedicated, a positive role model and enthusiastic individual, good communicator and have a true desire in wanting to work with children.

The role will require the successful applicant to register with the relevant sector bodies including approval and registration with the PVG scheme & SSSC.
