Little Years Educator Role Description

We are looking for Early Years Educators to support all children in our care - an individual who is inspiring, compassionate, kind, caring and seeks to motivate and educate. The successful candidate will be able to communicate clearly to children, parents and colleagues to maintain a strong and healthy relationship. Multitasking is essential to always prioritise the health and well-being of our children, by ensuring they are in a clean, safe space along with updating digital records of the children's guardians to view.

Responsibilities:



- Offer all children equal opportunities and always support their wellbeing.

- Help to develop and maintain the nursery environment and equipment to guarantee the smooth and safe running of the nursery.

- Ensure appropriate records and administration systems are maintained while always maintaining confidentiality.

- Attend meetings and training as necessary to continue professional development.

- Provide excellent care and education to all children and have responsibly for your key family.

- Work as a team to ensure all learning development is recorded and the children care needs are met and communicated to all.

Skills/attributes required:



- Knowledge of the EYFS and of high-quality early years practice including statutory requirements, theorist and current research.

- Comprehension and commitment to child protection, health and safety, equal opportunities and SEN/Inclusion

- An ability to work with a compassionate and caring approach.

- Work cooperatively in a small team of practitioners to deliver high quality education and experiences.

- To ensure the companies policies and procedures are adhered to at all times and that safeguarding is of the upmost importance.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

- Able to motivate, stimulate and inspire others.

- Physical fitness is required as there are lots of movement and manual work to be done

- Experience in the industry

Schedule:



- Dayshift: 8:00AM - 6.00PM

- Monday-Friday
