Early Careers Lead

About this role




We're looking for a passionate early careers professional to manage and continuously evolve our internship, graduate and placement programmes, including the attraction, selection and development journey.


As the Early Careers Lead, you will play a key role in the shaping and influencing of our Early Talent strategy - driving enhancements whilst ensuring a seamless yet impactful experience for our early careers intakes.


You will work closely with the business leaders and wider HR teams, ensuring that the early talent strategy is aligned to our overall business goals, whilst also leading on attraction and retention initiatives to ensure we continue to have a best in class offering.

What you'll do



Own the delivery, management and continuous improvement of our Early Careers programmes Lead and develop a team of two Early Careers Recruiters Consult with business sponsors, key stakeholders and the wider HR teams to explore and enhance our approach to attracting, recruiting, developing and retaining diverse talent Consult with business leaders to understand current and future development needs, working in partnership with the Leadership & Development team to build alterations into the early careers programme Build and lead working groups to ensure consistency of quality and delivery of programmes across the business Oversee performance management, probation and progression calibration sessions for the early careers cohort Leverage data and insights to understand the programme effectiveness, and drive continuous improvements Be the subject matter expert for our Early Careers programmes, acting as the key point of contact for queries Own the administrative processes for the delivery of our programmes Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team, supporting on recruitment initiatives

What we're looking for



Demonstrable experience leading early careers programmes A great communicator, with the ability to clearly articulate results and future plans to business leaders An early careers subject matter expert, comfortable with being the key point of contact for all programme queries Ability to build strong partnerships with your internal stakeholders, guiding them on best practices whilst feeling comfortable challenging when necessary Experience leading cross-functional projects, and working with people at every level to see them through to completion and beyond Comfortable dealing with ambiguity, and being able to connect inputs from a variety of different stakeholders to form a credible story Excellent administrative skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively A working knowledge of talent acquisition processes, understanding how these impact the programme delivery

Where and how you'll work




This is a permanent position based in our Nottingham office.


We have a hybrid working model which gives you flexibility to work from our offices and from home.


We're big on collaboration and connection, so you'll be based in our Nottingham office 3 days a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
