37 hours per week
We are currently seeking a motivated and suitably skilled individual to join the leisure services team in the role of Duty Manager at Wellington Civic & Leisure Centre.
The successful candidate will work across a rota pattern that includes evenings and weekend working and will be responsible for the operational management of a council owned sports and leisure facility on a shift basis.
They will have good interpersonal and customer communication skills and relevant supervisory experience in a leisure and customer services environment. They will have experience of supervising and training staff in operational procedures and experience of Health & Safety monitoring and reporting procedures.
A National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (or ability to achieve within 6 months) is a requirement of the post.
A Level 2 Health & Fitness Certificate (or ability to achieve within 6 months) is a requirement of the post.
