Job Introduction

Telford Ice Rink is one of the Council's flag ship leisure attractions located in the heart of Southwater in one of the fastest growing towns in the West Midlands.


The Ice Rink provides a perfect mix of family orientated activities, a comprehensive dedicated learn to skate programme from complete beginners to the advance, along with a wide variety of themed events throughout the year and is home to Telford Tigers Ice Hockey team, the Ice Rink is at the heart of the leisure provision in Southwater.


We are currently looking for a dynamic, committed and approachable person to join our leisure management team as a Duty Manager, the individual will need to work well under pressure, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to assist in leading and motivating a team, whilst being focused on high customer service standards and delivery.


The successful applicant will be responsible for assisting with improvements to services, programming, new activities, initiatives, whilst supporting events and ongoing developments.


The post holder will be required to undertake evening and weekend working as dictated by the nature of the business and the operational rota's.
