We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Team Leader to oversee our culinary operations within a dynamic hospitality environment. Responsibilities
Lead and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to food safety regulations.
Coordinate food preparation and production processes to meet service demands.
Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, hospitality standards, and operational procedures.
Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and manage stock rotation to minimise waste.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect seasonal availability and customer preferences.
Address any operational issues promptly, fostering a culture of teamwork and problem-solving among staff.
Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards before serving.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong background in food preparation, culinary arts, or food production.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Previous experience in hotel kitchens or similar settings is advantageous but not essential.
