: Skilled Roofing Labourer/Driver

Salary:

Up to 12.50 per hour depending on skills and experience.

We are currently recruiting for skilled driving roofing labourers to support our Roofing Tradesmen and who want to become a key part of our roofing team.

You must have a full clean driving licence. This role is for applicants who are able to drive only. You will have ideally held your licence for 3 years for insurance purposes.

We pride ourselves on providing 100% customer satisfaction, and the right candidate for this job will possess good customer service skills, be presentable, polite, friendly and be confident in your own ability.

You will ideally come from a roofing/construction background and can work on your own initiative, as well as working with others as part of a team.

In this role you must ensure the site is always kept clean and tidy. You will ensure that skips are loaded efficiently to ensure a safe load.

It is vital that you must have the capability to be able to carry materials and equipment from ground level up to higher levels via ladders and scaffolding and that you follow our health and safety procedures and guidelines.

This is a physically demanding role.

Essential criteria:

You must be reliable and have excellent timekeeping.

You must be able to carry heavy loads and be fit and healthy, to work both on the ground and at height.

Must be hard-working, and eager to learn.

Must be able to use initiative.

Full, clean, UK driving licence is essential.

The position is for a permanent, full time role, pending a successful probationary period.

The ideal candidate will work with our existing teams, and will be given the opportunity to progress and learn the roofing trade with our "in-house" training and development programme.
