Job Description

We currently have a great new opportunity for a customer focused Valeter/Driver to join our friendly but driven team in our Newcastle Depot. The Vehicle Hire Division hires a range of light commercial vehicles to companies ranging from blue chip corporations and public sector organisations to medium sized enterprises.



Working as a Driver/ Valeter, you will be responsible for checking and cleaning our vehicles for customers. You will also have responsibility for ensuring accurate completion of all documentation for the hire process. It is a customer facing role with varied duties, in which you will provide the highest level of face to face customer service.

Responsibilities:

Drive vehicles to and from the designated locations in a safe and timely manner Clean and polish the interior and exterior of the vehicles using appropriate equipment and products Remove any rubbish, stains, or odours from the vehicles Check the oil level, tyre pressure, and fuel level of the vehicles and refill as needed Report any mechanical issues, damages, or missing items to the Branch Manager Maintain a record of the vehicles' condition and mileage Follow safe working practices Comply with all traffic laws and company policies

Qualifications:

Valid driver's licence with experience of commercial driving and valeting. Driven, self-motivated, able to think on your feet and work well under pressure. Excellent customer service skills and a strong ability to deliver quality and safety with every vehicle. Experience of working with customers as an ambassador of the Company Excellent attention to detail Team player with a flexible attitude.
