DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Driver's Mate to play a vital role in our distribution service.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:


unloading of heavy products (kegs of beer) into customer cellars when required accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to licensed premises maintain regular contact with the Transport team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device

High levels of manual handling are required so you need to be physically fit Previous experience of the preparation, distribution and handling of volume orders Ability to read, understand and follow directions/instructions Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable
