Hours: Part time 0.75, working pattern to be agreed



Salary: No less than 36,678, actual salary no less than 27,508 per annum

Royal High School Bath is seeking a dynamic and inspiring Drama Teacher to play a pivotal role in promoting the profile of Drama within our Senior School.

As a Drama Teacher, you will plan, prepare, and deliver stimulating lessons and a vibrant programme of extra-curricular opportunities, engaging students of all abilities. You will be committed to delivering an excellent education by teaching with expertise and enthusiasm, supporting the learning of individual students, and contributing to the school's pastoral system.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, and hardworking teacher with a passion for Drama and the ability to motivate and inspire pupils. You must have experience of teaching Drama up to A-Level and the ability to teach Theatre Studies up to A-Level and English to Key Stage 3.

Our Drama Department is dedicated to educating the next generation of independent and confident female theatre makers, helping our students to learn through first-hand experience and exposure to a wide range of theatrical styles.

The Department organises numerous visits to local and London theatres, as well as offering students the chance to participate in enrichment through school productions such as: 'A Midsummer Night's Dream'; 'Oh! What A Lovely War'; 'The Crucible'; 'The Tempest', 'A Christmas Carol' and 'Oliver!'. We encourage a sense of passion for drama and to gain a better understanding of life in the industry, we often enhance our teaching with visiting workshops from outside practitioners and professionals.
