Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Care Workers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of care. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private homes. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of patient care tasks, with a focus on dignity, respect, and empathy.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care to clients, including assistance with bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure their safety and comfort. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients for any changes in health status. Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping. Offer companionship and emotional support to enhance the well-being of clients. Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff members. Engage clients in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional health. Provide specialised care for individuals with dementia or those requiring hospice care.

Qualifications

Previous experience in patient care or a similar role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Knowledge of assisted living practices, home care standards, and senior care principles is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members. A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others in need. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts as required by client needs.
