Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate Domicillary Care Worker to provide essential support to individuals in need of care, including those in nursing homes, hospice care, and assisted living facilities. The role involves assisting with various daily activities and ensuring the well-being of those under your care.
MUST HAVE A CAR AND DRIVING LICENSE
Duties
Provide personal care to individuals, including assistance with grooming, bathing, and dressing Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements Offer companionship and emotional support to individuals in need Assist with mobility and transportation needs, including driving when required Administer medication under the direction of healthcare professionals Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment
Experience
Previous experience in senior care, home care, or a similar setting is advantageous Knowledge of dementia care practices is beneficial A background in nursing or healthcare is desirable but not essential Strong communication skills and a caring nature are essential for this role
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 14.68-15.33 per hour
