Job Summary

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Domiciliary Care Staff to provide high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes. The role involves assisting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while promoting independence. As a vital member of our care team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of personalised care plans that meet the unique needs of each client.You will have Guaranteed hours drivers with their own car are more preferable.

Duties

Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming. Support clients with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times. Prepare meals and assist with dietary needs as outlined in care plans. Administer medication as prescribed and monitor clients' health conditions. Maintain accurate records of care provided and communicate any changes in clients' conditions to the relevant healthcare professionals. Foster positive relationships with clients through effective communication and companionship. Drive to clients' homes as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled visits. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in home care practices.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with clients and their families. Ability to develop and follow care plans tailored to individual client needs. Experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential. Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and record-keeping purposes. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between client locations. Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to improve the quality of life for those you care for.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 14.00-14.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 28 per week
