Job Description

The post holder will work across traditional staff group boundaries to provide an effective and timely service and maintain a safe and pleasant environment.Undertake duties to ensure the upkeep of a clean and hygienic environment within the hospital and other Health Board premises, inclusive of in-patient and non-patient environments under the direction of the Domestic Services Supervisor.Follow departmental procedures and provide a responsive cleaning and decontamination service for patient and non-patient areas throughout the healthcare premises.All work to be undertaken in line with Health & Safety, COSHH and cleanliness policies and procedures, and with a commitment to customer care, following on the job training.Main duties of the jobProvision of high standards of cleanness of clinical and non clinical areas of the princess of wales HospitalAbout usCwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is part of the NHS Wales family.
