Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Assistant to join our team, responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments, including residential and healthcare settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere for all occupants.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Carry out tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Manage waste disposal and ensure proper recycling practices are followed. Assist with the organisation of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored safely. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure that all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel. Adhere to health and safety regulations, particularly in hospital environments, to maintain a safe working space.

Skills

Proven experience in commercial cleaning, preferably within a hospital or healthcare setting. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow specific cleaning protocols. Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and maintaining cleanliness standards. Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.

Pay: 12.21 per hour
