The Role:




Provide comprehensive, holistic needs assessment, support planning, advocacy, case management, resettlement, progress monitoring and review for victims/survivors of domestic abuse with a range of complex social and housing needs.

Responsibilities include:



Welcoming new residents, explaining and arranging for them to sign occupancy agreements, ensuring that they are aware of their options for moving on to more permanent accommodation and to develop a proactive move on strategy for individual residents. Conducting key work sessions on a regular basis and keeping casework records up to date. Developing individual support and risk management plans which address the risk of harm to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse and their children, and to ensure that such plans are in place for each resident. Working in partnership with other agencies to ensure an effective, coordinated community response to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse and their children.

Qualifications / Requirements:



A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle - business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work Understanding of domestic abuse and trauma, with a good understanding of substance misuse issues. Evidence of the ability to be calm and resilient whilst under pressure and to remain optimistic and persistent.
