Lily Pads & Poppy Paws is looking for a stylist!

I am on the search for a select individual to join me, on a full time basis. The start date will be TUESDAY 3RD JUNE. The hours are between 32-38 hours a week, the working week will be Tuesday - Friday 9-5 and Saturday 9-3 with one closed Saturday at random a month (making for the 32 hour week).

About you:

Here at Lily Pads & Poppy Paws, we put our dogs and clients first, so we shall be looking for an individual with exceptional customer service and animal care. Loving and treating the dogs as if they're your own is very important to me!

The individual should also be reliable, be able to work well in a team or alone, punctual, and have a can do attitude.

What experience shall you need?

You will need at least your NVQ level 2 in dog grooming, level 3 or OCN preferred, but not essential. As long as you're experienced in styling all breeds of dogs to breed or a high standard. Or equal to that 3 years work experience as a stylist, within a salon. Again the main priority is that you can groom ALL breeds confidently.

What are your responsibilities?

You will be responsible for grooming a wide variety of dogs to a breed and or high standard, within a dedicated time frame, whilst always ensuring the dogs safety and well being is top priority. You shall be responsible for giving exceptional customer service towards our loyal customers. Everyone is responsible for keeping the salon clean and tidy at all times, and you should always maintain a safe and clean work station to ensure the safety of the dog, yourself and the team. You shall be taking bookings, communicating with clients, handling payments, opening and closing of the salon, and covering holiday at times too.
